Patreon Reward Instructions

Thank you so much for considering to support us on Patreon and supporting the Mushroom Boy on his adventures through life in Japan!

We really appreciate each and every one of you more than you can imagine. As such, I want to reciprocate the love by giving away many of the items we have gathered on our adventures.

To avoidance of doubt, we will list out exactly how it all works below and clarify all steps, terms and conditions:

You are our Patreon because you want to support our channel and what we are doing and enjoy the benefits that come with it.

• We are giving out rewards as a thank you for your continued support.

 

If you really want a product we have available immediately, then you can contact us privately and we can come to an agreement.

Depending on which Patreon tier you sign up as, we will guarantee you be sent a reward from that corresponding prize tier in a 12 month period of consecutive patronage (Sent within 12 months with proof of delivery, but delivered to your door whenever the post service are able!)

You must be a Patreon for consecutive months in the same tier, to receive that tiers reward. (You cannot for example be a Patron for 7 months in tier 2 and then 1 month in tier 3 and get a tier 3 rewards.

For now, only 1 prize will be given to you, but it may change in the future depending on the success of this system, in terms of additional unlisted prizes being sent to you at our discretion.

As soon as you sign up as a Patron, you have the right to reserve a prize for yourself to receive after 12 months if there is one you really want available. This means that no one else can claim it and you will be guaranteed to get it as long as you are a still a Patreon in 12 months. You can change which prize to reserve if a new one in your tier becomes available, but please limit the amount of changes to avoid additional admin!

We will 100% send out your rewards in that 12 month period from after you started supporting us. This does not necessarily mean you will receive it at your door depending on the global and local logistic situation and timings, but we will give proof of dispatch by then.

If your shipping address changes from the time you became our patron, please let us know before the prize is shipped. No replacement will be provided if you fail to notify us of address changes prior to shipping. We will also confirm if the costs stay the same.

If we do not dispatch you reward in that time frame, we will give you an additional prize from that tier, of your choosing as our apology.

When the time is right for you to make a choice on which prize you want (provided that you have not already reserved one), we will contact you by email and you can choose any prize currently available in your tier list.

Any prizes that are not reserved, are not guaranteed to be available permanently so reserve if there is one you really want! You may also at any time, buy a prize directly for an agreed price privately. This does not consume your right to get your free goodie as per your patron tier reward.

Postage
We are happy to cover some if not all of the costs of sending your prizes depending on the tier list below. If the item you chose is particularly heavy or when we find the postage costs to send to your location and you feel you would prefer a different price to reduce costs, then we can discuss it at the time and you can change prize selection.

• Enoki Mushroom Horde Tier – No Prizes officially, but we may send out thank you prizes in order of start of patronage, at our discretion
• British White Mushroom – No Prizes officially, but we may send out thank you prizes in order of start of patronage, at our discretion
• Exotic Shiitake Mushroom – Rank D goodie – 500 yen of shipping covered. You will cover the rest to meet the shipping costs to your destination
• King Oyster Mushroom – Rank C goodie – 3000 yen of shipping covered. You will cover the rest to meet the shipping costs to your destination
• Finest Luxury Truffle – Rank C goodie – 5000 yen of shipping covered. You will cover the rest to meet the shipping costs to your destination
• The Mushroom Kingdom – Rank B goodie – 8000 yen of shipping covered. You will cover the rest to meet the shipping costs to your destination
