Having not played an Atelier Ryza game yet, this figure looks exactly like how I expect Ryza to look from my imagination. Having done a bit of research into her image on google and on youtube game clips, I am pretty happy to say that I think the likeliness is uncanny to her!
Her cheeky cheery smile, the thickness and wholesome girl next door look and those thighs…. yup, its Ryza alright!
Because of the pose though, you can’t see every details so I am happy with 4.5
The paint work on Ryza herself is pretty good. The light palette, the tone on her tights, the lively eyes, the shades on the leaves and the blemishes and damage on the rocks are highlights.
The low points however are clearly the brown animal skin which is monotone and fake looking and her hair strands could have popped a little bit more!
Overall, a solid paint job and at the viewing distance of a meter, the paint work looks pleasing but not absolutely mindblowing.
The first thing I looked for on the sculpt, is whether the juicy inner thigh was captured on point. Im pleased to say, I think Good Smile did a decent job!
Not only that but the tightness of the tights on her voluptuously thighs is a highlight for me!
Her face is cute and the proportions on a 1/6 scale are fairly decent. The Diorama, the backdrop and even the little tweety bird are nice touches.
I do like the wooden hollow block she is sitting on and the briefcase and accessories are all done to a pretty high level.
Overall, I am happy with the sculpt and think the quality control is decent.
From a distance, this look to represent everything Ryza and the Atelier series stands for. A natural girl in a beautiful scenic display with her surroundings giving a world building element. I really feel this is super pretty and cute to look at and her smile warms the heart!
Very happy to look at ryza but I would say due to her sitting pose, she must be placed eye level to truly enjoy her.
She is listed at 29,800 yen on the goodsmile page, but I managed to get her for 24,700 yen + 500 yen shipping from Hobbystock.

Overall, I think she is good value for money with her base representing the Ever Darkness and Secret Hideout well!
She falls into the mid range standard of scale figures and is particularly good value, being a 1/6 scale
Overall, I am very happy with my first Ryza figure. I looked at a variety of her available figures and decided that this one really represented the world of Atelier Ryza, as well as give a cheeky glimpse into what Thighza is all about… on a serious note, she needs bigger tights, those things are about to burst!
Her fashion sense is also too kawaii >_<
